She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Edwards, Sr. and Yvonne Iola Edwards; her siblings, Gloria Jeannette Sanders and Dwight Edwards; and her brother-in-law Travis Sanders.
She is survived by: her husband Nelson Ray LaPrairie of Jonesville, LA; her son Kent LaPrairie (Donna) of Magnolia, TX; her grandchildren, Kristin Davenport and Eric Kent LaPrairie of Tomball, TX; her brothers, L. D. Edwards (Touzette) of Larto, LA, Lawrence Edwards, Jr. (JoAnn) of Jonesville, LA and Mickey Edwards (Robin) of Enterprise, LA; her sisters-in-law, Linda Edwards of Larto, LA and Audrey Sanders of Jonesville, LA; and her great grandchildren, Kendall and Kennedy Davenport.
