He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Guise Trunzler III and Mamie Bethard Trunzler; his siblings, Ann Trunzler Coker, Basil Guise Trunzler IV and Joe Tom Trunzler; and his nephew Joey Trunzler.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Mary Gene Bartmess Trunzler; his nieces, Cat Coker (Charles Ambrogio) of Winnsboro, Candy Coker Owens of Jonesville, Laura Trunzler Batson (John) of Shreveport, Katie Trunzler Adams (John) of Jonesville and Sommer Trunzler Kimbrough of Jonesville; and his nephew Basil Guise Trunzler V "Quint" of Shreveport. He is also survived by six great nephews, four great nieces and one great-great niece.
