He is survived by: his wife Melvia Trisler Bass; his sons, Lankston Dale Bass Jr. (Cindy) of Jonesville, John Bass and Chrystal of Jonesville; his grandchildren, Whit Bass (Michelle), Will Bass, Caleb Bass (Blake) and Linsey Meyers Holloway (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Bass Johnson (J. J.), Hannah, Aaron Bass, Leslie Ford, Conor, Jasmine, Jade Bass, Kinsley and Kailey Holloway; his great great grandchildren, Slade, Drake, Piper, Kenlie Chapman, Hadlie Chapmen and Jacie Ganey; and his siblings, Charles E. Bass, Mark Bass (Alyene), Bobbie Calhoun, Georgia Bass, Dimple Cooper (Kenneth) and Shelia Mayo (Everett). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
