It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Faye Ferrington of Jonesville, Louisiana, who passed away on June 24, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Floyd "Timer" Ferrington; her daughter Lorrie Smith; and her siblings, James "Preacher" Brynes, Otis J. "Bull" Byrnes and Lillie Dale Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd Ferrington (Kerry) and Debbie Seifert (Wanda Ferrington); her sister Dottie Bolan; and her grandchildren, Susan (Chris), Christopher, Timothy, Scottie, Rusty, Jeremy, Megan and Cody. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Faye was born October 15, 1936, to the union of the late Lena Prudhomme Byrnes and the late Otis Byrnes and passed from this life June 24, 2024, after a thirty-year battle with Parkinson's Disease.
