It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Edwards Breithaupt of Jonesville, Louisiana, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Reece M. Breithaupt, Sr.; her parents, John Edwards and Beckie Bird Edwards; her sisters, Beth Edwards Bradford, Tilda Edwards Young and Tilly Edwards Whittam; and her son-in-law Lawrence Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Reece M. Breithaupt, Jr. of Ohio, James A. Breithaupt of Virginia, Mary Moffett (Tommy) of Jena and Mildred Rose Nichols of Jonesville; her grandsons, John Nichols (Brittney), Michael Moffett (Megan), Marcus Nichols and Grayson Moffett (Aleesha); and her great grandchildren, Camden Reece Moffett, Easton Moffett, Taylor Moffett, Andrew Moffett, Maddox Moffett, Elli Falgoust, Fynn Falgoust, Emery Falgoust, Daylin Bowman and Braelynn Johnson.
