He is survived by: his wife Thelma Creel Franklin of Jonesville; and his children, Charles Ray Franklin (Ethel) of Jonesville, James Edward Franklin (Margaret) of Jonesville, Mary Estelle Blaney (Jimmy) of Harrisonburg, Linda Sue Higginbotham (Pat) of Jonesville, Edna Wilson (Jim) of Jonesville, Wanda Wages (Curtis) of Jonesville, Cheryl Franklin of Jonesville and Brandy Laird of Kelly. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
