He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Evans and Josephine Evans; his son Timothy Evans; and his siblings, C. W. Evans, Carlton Evans, Lopez Evans and Maggie Lunsford.
He is survived by: his wife Avis; his son Davey Evans (Shirby) of Wildsville, LA; his daughter-in-law Susan Clay of Monterey, LA; his granddaughters, Alisha Trisler (Jeffery) of Jena, LA, Jennifer Evangelista (Casey) of Jena, LA, Heather Leaphart (Brandon) of Youngsville, LA, Daisy Dewitt (Justin) of Wildsville, LA, Holli House (Ethan) of Jonesville, LA and Lily Clay of Monterey, LA; his great grandchildren, Carly Trisler, Alaina Trisler, Ella House, Katie House, Mason Leaphart, Finn Dewitt and Bodhi Evangelista; and his sister-in-law Bernice Evans of Liddieville, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jonesville Church of God (152 LA-3037, Jonesville, LA 71343). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
