He was predeceased by: his former wife Marrian "Mary" Young; his parents, J. W. Richey and Eunice Richey; and his sister Joyce Richardson (George). He is survived by: his wife Maxine Finley; his stepdaughter Sherry Stone (Ed) of Monterey, LA; and his daughters, Cathy Domingue (Blain) of Pineville, LA, Cindy Thompson (W. D.) of Jonesville, LA, Charlotte Patten (Chopper) of Shreveport, LA and Nancy Harrison (Rex) of Larto, LA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pisgah Baptist Church (11432 Hwy 8, Jonesville, LA 71343). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
