He was predeceased by: his siblings, Curtis (Gloria) and Elizabeth Freeman Hill; his grandson Corbin Carpenter; his grandson-in-law Wyatt Kemp; and his great grandchildren, Hadley and Braxton Pentecost.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Theresa Carpenter (Dewitt), Dana Evans (Russell) and Chris Freeman of Jonesville; his stepdaughters, Teresa Frye (Scott) of Jonesville and Anita Gable (Doug) of Jonesville; his grandchildren, Courtney Robertson (Dustin), Jessica Pentecost (Brad), Matt Evans, Brayden Freeman and Logan Freeman; his stepgrandchildren, Kristen Pere (Tyler), Amber Hawthorne (Will), Ashley Frye, Landon Loyed, Will Gable (Ally) and David Frith (Mint); his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kinley, Maddison, Korlee Mae, Corbin Grace, Witt, Thomas, Addilyn and Aubrey; his grandsons, Lee Carpenter, Colt Carpenter and Brodey Freeman; and his grandson-in-law Brad Pentecost. He is also survived by 8 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Freeman was adamant that memorials be sent to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, 7200 Desiard Street, Monroe, LA 71203 or Westside Baptist Church, P O Box 877, Ferriday, LA 71334.
