He is survived by: his wife Melinda Netherland of Jonesville; his children, Richie Netherland (Lisa) of Jena, Todd Netherland (Deon) of Sicily Island and Phyllis Richey (Grady) of Franklinton; his grandsons, Tyler Netherland (Bree), Will Richey, DaWhite Netherland, Jacob Whatley and Kevin Richey; his siblings, Clayton Netherland (Phyllis) and Millie Murry (Acie); and his sister-in-law Charlene Netherland. He is also survived by brother-n-law, Coy Book; numerous other relatives and friends.
