He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur C. McDonald and Annie D. Corbett McDonald; and his granddaughter Kaitlin Boyett. He is survived by: his wife Sybil Cox McDonald of Jonesboro, LA; his children, Margo Maxwell of Quitman, LA, Melanie McDonald of Quitman, LA, Michael McDonald (Michele) of Jonesboro, LA, Machaela Golden (Gary) of Baton Rouge, LA and Laura Boyett (Brian) of Jonesboro, LA; his grandchildren, Amanda Martin, Cammie Neatherland, Drew Maxwell, Sadie Flower, William Watts, Jay Shively, Carson Shively, Layla Calhoun and Madeline Golden; and his niece JoAnn Teat. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; sister.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jonesboro Hodge Methodist Church (402 4th St, Jonesboro, LA 71251). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
