Michael Ponder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Ponder of Jonesboro, Louisiana, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Ponder and Wilma Ponder (Key); his brothers, Billy Paul Ponder, Roger Ponder, Leo Ponder and Gerald Ponder; and his parents-in-law, Roy Neatherland and Gladys Neatherland (Wyatt).
He is survived by: his wife Lawanda Ponder (Neatherland); his children, Chasity Patton (Tony) and Josh Browning (Tori); his sisters, Ann Carenza (James), Linda Griffin (Bobby), Marilyn Willis, Kay Welch, Teresa Harvad and Donna Ponder; and his sisters-in-law, Lynette Ponder and Ann Ponder. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
