It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Murphy (Jonesboro, Louisiana), who passed away on July 30, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Mark Murphy; her parents, William Edger and Thelma Louise Gunter (Rowe); and her sisters, Jan Meek and Lanitta Gunter.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Murphy; her children, Jeff Murphy, Amy Murphy and Brooke Murphy; and her brothers, Gurvey Gunter, Elton Gunter, Bently and Yappy. She is also survived by grandchildren, Brandon Fair, Nathan Fair, Casey Fair, Josh Murphy, Justin Murphy; 4 great grandchildren.
