She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Rushing and Mary Rushing (Floyd); and her parents-in-law, Walker D. Gay and Winnie Cora Gay (Whittaker). She is survived by: her husband Walker Gay; her children, Tarl Gay and Wendy Gay; her grandchildren, Hunter Humble, Zakk Gay, Masina Elisaia, Syndel Elisaia and Elijah Schenk; and her siblings, Donald Rushing, Mickey Rushing and Darlene Brady.
In lieu of flowers monetary donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
