Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Margaret Ann James of Jonesboro, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 82, on January 18, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter James and Myrtie Mixon James; and her brothers, Charlie James (Ruth), Lynn James Sr. (Geneva) and Billy James.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Hendry (Larry) of Kentwood, LA, Robyn Waxley of Bossier City, LA. and Marty Weeks (Amanda) of Jonesboro, LA.; her grandchildren, Colby Coleman (Kristin Brunett), Dallas Coleman (Annie), Valerie Cutrer (Landon), Shelby Magee (Jonathan), Heath Waxley (Taylor), Hayden Waxley (Madison), Harrison Waxley (Kate Boltinghouse), Marly Coleman (Wesley) and Carson Weeks (Machaela); and her nephews, William "Bubba" James, Tony James, Lynn James, Jr., Michael James, Jody James and Lance James. She is also survived by Nine great-grandchildren, one step-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel (202 E Lafayette St, Winnfield, LA 71483). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
