He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Stroud and Muriel Jones Stroud; and his siblings, Robert Stroud and Mary Bess Stroud. He is survived by: his wife Vondell Stroud; his son-in-law Joel Deynzer; his grandchildren, Joshua Adkisson, Zachary Adkisson, Savanna Matthews, Shelby Deynzer and Kaylee Deynzer; his son Joseph; his daughter-in-law Dawn Gilcrease Stroud; his grandchildren, Hayley Stroud and Gage Lashley; his siblings, Jim Stroud and Linda Stroud Starnes Mason; and also Tonya Stroud Adkisson Deynzer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
