He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Watson and Gladys Talbot Watson; his son Carter; and his brother Talbot. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his grandchildren, Wells, Jr., Emeline and Jack, II; and his brother Dr. Jerry Watson.
