He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Bud" Finlay Gorham; his daughter Julia Gorham Thomas; and his great grandchild Christian Blake Richardson. He is survived by: his children, Glynda Carpenter (Lamar) and Toby Gorham; and his grandchildren, Chip Thomas (Christa), Wendy Carter (Jon), Josh Thomas (Lynn), Kayla Drye (Wesley), David Sanders, Heather Gentry, Amber Zambie (Chris), Lacey McManus (Trey) and Jessica Elliott.
