It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Dewayne Ford Sr. of Jonesboro, Louisiana, born in Hamburg, Arkansas, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Ann Ford; his parents, Tommy Joe and Esther Ford; and his siblings, Tommy Ford (Betty), Margie White (E. J.), Mary Ruth Hemphill (Buddy), Charles Ford and Marilyn Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Howard (Ricky), Georgianna Morrow (Brian), Cecil D. Ford, Jr. (Lori), Veronica Ford and Thomas Ford (Dana); his siblings, Vernon Ford (Barbara), John E. Ford and Kathee Simpson (Scott); his brother-in-law Ben Thompson; and his friends, Perry P., Doug and Nick. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
