He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Huckaby, Sr. and Mary Ben Flores (Reed); his half-brother Mark Huckaby; and his brother Jimmy Huckaby. He is survived by: his siblings, Vicki Ingram, Ricky Huckaby (Teresa), Carla Landeros (Joe), Mellisa Ogden (Mike) and Melony Zimmerman (Steven); and his caregivers, Travis and Sherry Ables. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Carl's honor can be made to the Springhill Cemetery Fund or the Wounded Warriors Project.
