He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tolbert Bryant and Katie Bryant (Mathews); and his siblings, Sybil Burnum, Helen Johnson, Doris Bryant, Tommy Bryant and Gerald "Red" Bryant.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bryant; his children, Sheila Vega, Rusty Kelley and Tina; his grandchild Ashley Vega; his great grandchild Carter Greer of Khloe Greer; and his sister Philodean Stewart.
