He was predeceased by: the mother of his children Elaine Cockrell White; his former wife Carol Sue Wallace White; his parents, Olan White and Flora Mae White; his siblings, Sherwood White, Don White, Jimmy White, Linda Ellis and Glen Dale White; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly White and Judy White.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Kennedy White; his children, Brian White, Carrie White Kindrix (Steve) and Jimmy White (Mendy); his stepdaughters, Rhonda Huffman (Brad), Charlene, Marquita Mihaliak, Sherri Ingram (Robert) and Franny Gambrell (Steve); his siblings, Mickey Farrar (Leonard) and Ed White; his grandchildren, Shannon White Teague (Cody), Megan Stephans (Zachary), Dalton White, Meaghan, Phillip White, Samantha, Mark Kindrix, Blake Kindrix (Carli), Kristin Goodson (Brandon), Zach White, Noah White (Rachel) and Josie White; his stepgrandchildren, Susan Harkness (Cody), Taylor Jolicouer, Sarah Ingram, Casey Small, Jessica, Codey Small, Meagan Ramsey (Curt), Annabelle Huffman and Harris Huffman; his great grandchildren, Danielle Kindrix, Giana Teague, Peyton Teague, Elaina Grace Goodson, McKenzie Teague, Peyton Grace Kindrix, Braxton Gage Kindrix, Allie Beth Goodson, Harper Moon Kindrix, Isaac Stephans and Hudson Stephans; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Amy Harkness, Raylan Harkness, Xavier Ren Ramsey, Amora Faye Ramsey and Carter Rem Small. He is also survived by numerous great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Central Missionary Baptist Church "Live Nativity" Fund in honor of Darrell, who loved to participate in this special community outreach event. Donations may be mailed to the church at 1231 Leavell Ave. Bastrop, LA 71220.
