He was predeceased by: his wives, Earlene Stapleton and Debra Guice Stapleton; and his mother Clara Stapleton. He is survived by: his children, Neal Stapleton (Tommie) of Shreveport, LA, Richard Stapleton (Darla) of Waxahachie, TX and Sonja Benton (Tom) of West Monroe, LA; and his brother Mike Stapleton (Barbara) of Lake Providence, LA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
