He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Gilbeaux, Sr. and Mamie Keogh Gilbeaux; his wife Maynell Gilbeaux; his daughter Bridget Gilbeaux Thibodeaux; his siblings, Clovis (Celestine), Ray (Louella), Harry (Rose), Clossie Gaul (Eugene), Deridder Johnnie (Melvin) and Jeanette Goodwin (Fedelis); and his father-in-law Clarence Dartez (Essie).
He is survived by: his children, Wilbert Gilbeaux, Jr. (Lorena) and Erika Williams (Deon); his grandchildren, Courtney Coutee (Craig), Donavon Thibodeaux (Krista), Jade and Jaxon Gilbeaux; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Jaden, Conner Coutee and Dallas Thibodeaux. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
