He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Doucet and Mabel Thibodeaux Doucet; his siblings, Judy Istre and Charles Doucet; his godson LJ Seaux; his mother-in-law Joyce Seaux; and his pet Harley.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila Seaux Doucet; his sisters, Mildred Mott (Webb) of Roanoke, Shirlene Guidry (Charles) of Roanoke and Lula Daigle (Daniel) of Roanoke; and his grandchildren, Kourtnee Doucet, Ashlyn Touchet, Meagan Touchet and Trevor Touchet.
