He is survived by: his sons, Robert Da'Ron Strauss, Jr. and Da'Ron Rashad Strauss; his sister Maegan Jackson of Baton Rouge, LA; his aunts, Sheila Thibodeaux, Sharon Rubin and Deborah Rubin; and his niece Camdyn Jackson. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives.
