She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Melton; her son John Melton; and her grandson Lee Lantz of Jennings. She is survived by: her children, Collette McKelroy (James) of Jennings, Colleen Melton (Kyle Broussard) of Jennings, Arthur Melton (Becky) of Mermentau and Jeramey Melton (Melinda) of Lake Charles. She is also survived by six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
