With solemn reverence, we commemorate Melva Ledoux (Jennings, Louisiana), whose life came to an end on February 11, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Borders and Roxie Borders; her husband Dennis LeDoux; and her sister Celia Kenner (John David). She is survived by: her children, Lisa Trahan (Greg), Scott LeDoux (Melissa) and Brent LeDoux (Cheryl); her sisters, Maude Smith (Buford) and Peggy Ogden (Bobby Jeff); her grandchildren, Justin Trahan (Katie), Aaron Trahan (Chelsea), Jake Trahan (Bethany), Eric LeDoux (Erin), Abby Landrum, George LeDoux and Waylon LeDoux; and her great grandchildren, James, Luke, Isla, Blakely, Sutton, Layton, Landree, Kaleb, Kory and Lillian.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christ's Church of Jennings (1812 N Cutting Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Christian Youth Encampment (CYE), in Melva's memory, as a tribute to her enduring faith and devotion.
