He was predeceased by: his father Wilfred Menard (Lois Menard); his grandparents, Eula Mae, Curley Courts, Hilda Theriot and Milton Menard; his nephew Aaron Richard; and his great-nephew Joshua Maxey.
He is survived by: his significant other Giny Smith; his mother Lois Menard; his siblings, Randal Menard (Pam), Jeff Menard (Audra) and Paula Bonin; his children, Gigi Freeman (Johnny) and Jason Procell (Melissa); his grandchildren, Joshua, Sierra, Chayse, Rexli, Jaxli Procell, Aiden Phillips, Tucker Link, Cameron Tamplain, Jordan Freeman (Cami) and Peyton Freeman; and his great grandchildren, Ellis Tamplain, Raleigh and Jackson Freeman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 6:45 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home - Jennings (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1355 Evangeline Hwy, Jennings, LA 70546).
