He is survived by: his wife Cassy D. Abshire of Jennings, LA; his father Marcus B. Abshire, Sr. (Denise) of Jennings, LA; his siblings, Collin Thibodeaux (Tiffany) of Crowley, LA and Stephanie Thibodeaux (Johnathan); his nephews, Dylan, Caleb and Draegen; his grandfather Chester Abshire (Bernadine Estilette); his mother-in-law Kay Miller; his grandmother-in-law Melvin Smith; his brothers-in-law, Rusty Robertson and Patrick Robertson; and his close friend John LeJeune.
