He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Charles and Ira Bell Jones-Charles. He is survived by: his wife Lisa S. Charles; his children, Kenneth Ray Charles, Jr. of Jennings, LA and Alisa Charles of Jennings, LA; his siblings, Arnold Charles of Jennings, LA., John Charles, Sr. (Chandra) of Killeen, TX and Anita Simeon (Tony) of Lake Charles, LA; and his grandchildren, Kynli Soulaire, Kenneth "Trae" Charles and Kasen Charles. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church (1014 S Main St, Jennings, LA 70546). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Peterson Memorial Cemetery.
