He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bertrand and Nellie Bertrand; and his sister Vickie Hickman. He is survived by: his wife Janice Bourque Bertrand; his children, Jessica Touchet (Shane), Jeremy Bertrand, Jennifer Auble (James) and Joshua Bertrand (Brianne); and his brother Kevin Bertrand. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Doucet Cemetery.
