The memory of John LaBauve of Jennings, Louisiana, born in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, who passed away on October 12, 2024 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivy LaBauve and Carmette LeGros LaBauve; his wife Hilda Pete Labauve; his children, Gaylynn LaBauve, Damie LaBauve, Roger Gary and Malcolm Gary; and his siblings, Gracie Villemarette, Ivy LaBauve, Jr. and Herman LaBauve.
He is survived by: his children, Gloria Brunette (Jerald), Jolane Dupont (Brian), Serena LaBauve, Phyllis Deshotel, Randy Gary and John LaBauve, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Linda Gary. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, at 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A rosary was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home - Jennings (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bertrand Cemetery.
