He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gary and Clara Crochet Gary; and his siblings, Laura Bergeaux, Geneva Gary and Ricky Gary.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Castillo of Elton, Elaine Hebert (Troy) of Broussard, Monite Blanchard (Harvey) of New Iberia, Gerald Gary (Rebecca) of Hathaway, Keith Gary (Patricia) of Holmwood, Kenneth Gary (Renee) of Jennings, Lee Lemaire (Jackie) of New Iberia and Jacque Lemaire (Jenny) of New Iberia; and his siblings, Lucy Deshotel of Jennings, LeRoy Gary (Faye) of Evangeline and Merlin Gary of Evangeline. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren; fourty great grandchildren with one on the way; and one great-great grandchild.
