He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kratzer Sr. and Ella Kratzer; his son Tim Kratzer (Moe); and his brother Martin Wayne Kratzer. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kratzer; his children, James (Jim), Glenn Kratzer, Gerald J "Pal" Kratzer and Thelma Sue Moore; and his sisters, Betty Ann Robicheaux (Cedric) and Mary Jane Lessigne. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
