With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Abraham (Jennings, Louisiana), born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, who passed away on August 1, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradley Abraham, Sr. and Lena Batiste; his sons, Larry Dugas Abraham and Gerald Keith Abraham; and his siblings, Doris Abraham Palfrey, Zenobia Abraham Alexander, Elsie Abraham Soulairie, Bradley Abraham, Jr. and Roy Abraham.

He is survived by: his close friend Lucy Lyons; his children, Shalonda Guidry, Elliot Withers, Sharron Johnson, Alislair Peterson and Sandra Peters; and his sisters, Willa Mae Alexander, Joyce Alexander and Earline Miller. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extend family and friends.
