He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty "Millie" Ann Pugh Hewitt and Clark Wilson Hewitt of Jennings, LA; and his grandparents, Rufus Barnett Pugh (Paw Paw) and Mamie Pugh (Honey) of Jennings, LA. He is survived by: his wife Amelia; his children, Haley (Houston) and Hunter of Los Angeles, CA; his sister Kathleen "Kathy" Hewitt Hidalgo; and his brother-in-law Havard Hidalgo of Lafayette, LA.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Miguez Funeral Home (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the same location.
