It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Gloston-Francis of Jennings, Louisiana, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cosar Gloston and Angie Bias Gloston; her husband Butch Francis; and her siblings, Wilbert "Duck" Gloston, Artis Gloston, Willie Gloston, William Gloston, Angie L. Gloston and Geneva M. Gloston.
She is survived by: her nieces, Johnette Gloston of Ocean Springs, MS., Yvette Gloston of Sulphur, LA. and Monica Gloston of Biloxi, MS; her sisters, Effie Celestine of Atlanta, GA, Joanne Collins and Linda Gloston of Jennings, LA; and her close friend Gerry Simon of Alexandria, LA. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
