He is survived by: his wife Elsie Roy Blanchard; his children, Jena Guidry (Tim) of Jennings, Jeanell Blanchard of Lake Charles, Eugene "Geno" Blanchard, Jr. of Sorrento, LA and Gerald Blanchard (Laura) of Jennings; and his brother Herbert Blanchard of Hathaway.
