It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Berry of Jennings, Louisiana, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Stewart and LeReine McClung Stewart; her husband R. A. Berry; her siblings, Elza Stewart, Jeanette Mercer and Kenneth Stewart; her grandchildren, Stewart Berry, Jeanne Berken, Leah Berken and Kathryn Berken; and her nephew Richard Mercer.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Berken (Clarence) and R. Arthur Berry; her grandchildren, Erik Berken (Teri), Erin Williams (Brady) and Drs; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Williams, Levi Berken, William Berken, Adelaide Berken, Katherine Berken, Gabe Berken, William Rothermel, Margaret Rothermel, Vivienne Berry and James Berry.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1355 Evangeline Hwy, Jennings, LA 70546).
