He was predeceased by: his parents, Patty Lyons Maffit and Bro. Garold Maffit; his sister Diane Maffit Sneed; and his niece Leslie Bergeaux. He is survived by: his daughters, Patty Maffit Anthony (Jimmy) and Jean Williams (Mike); and his brother-in-law Don Robinson. He is also survived by two nephews; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family requests that donations be made in his honor to your local Veterans Home or the Wounded Warrior Project.
