He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Doucet and Hope Daigle Doucet; his wife Agnes Doucet; his daughter Theresa Doucet Quebodeaux; and his great grandchild Aysia.
He is survived by: his children, Herbert L. Doucet (Judy) of Jennings, LA and Brenda Hebert (Russell) of Evangeline, LA; his grandchildren, Hope Doucet, Ashely Quebodeaux and Jared Quebodeaux; his great grandchildren, Javon, Anjale, Jazlyn, Luna, Kaden and Remy; and his sister Marie Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the VA Home or LAMN Hospice.
