It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile D. Fruge of Jennings, Louisiana, born in Evangeline, Louisiana, who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ursin Daigle and Marie Lasage Daigle; her husband David Daniel Fruge; and her children, David "Dago" Fruge and Rosa Gail.
She is survived by: her children, Cyndi Lyons (Charles Miller) of Evangeline, Betty Ardoin (Gerald) of Iota, Darlene Benoit (Michael) of Lake Arthur, Don Paul Daigle of Evangeline, Randy Fruge of Iota and Harold Fruge (Darlene) of Gott's Cove. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
