He is survived by: his wife Amanda Hawkins Holmes of Jennings, LA; his children, Wally Hawkins, Raynetta Richard, Bathsheba Thomas, Lyndon Kateley, Herbetta Manuel, Demetrus Manuel and Aaron Perkins, Jr.; his goddaughter Lilly McZeal; and his siblings, John Holmes, Exneliance Holmes, James Holmes and Mable Caesar Holmes. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
