She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hanes and Ada Doughty Hanes; her son Horace Ray "Jake" Bradford Jr.; and her siblings, George Hanes, Sarah Pritchard and Mary McKnight.

She is survived by: her children, Richard "Jody" Bradford (Dell) of Belah, Robert Bradford (Carol Ann) of Jena, Angie McDaniel of Jena and Pamela Coon (Jason) of New Braunfels, Texas; her sister Ann Freeman of Carrollton, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Crystal of Dennis, R. J., Jeremy, Justin, Kelsey, Cassidy, Rachel, Lane, Shellie and Courtney.
