He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Ainsworth and Nettie Roark Ainsworth. He is survived by: his children, Debra Ann Ainsworth, Larry Darrel Ainsworth and Mickey Darron Ainsworth (Charlotte); his granddaughters, Brianna Carter (Kasey) and Tori Ainsworth; and his great grandchildren, Everett Allen Carter and Oliver Thomas Carter.
