He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Kirkland and Oleva Sherrill Kirkland. He is survived by: his children, Stephen T. Kirkland, Kathy Kirkland and Pamela Bailey (Jerry). He is also survived by sixteen siblings; and he had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
