She was predeceased by: her husband John L. Heath; her grandchildren, Phillip Vincin Butler, Jr. and Jamie Lynn Sadowski; her parents, Grady Welch, Sr. and Velvia Welch; and her siblings, Grady Welch, Jr., Clyde Edward Welch, James D. Welch, Sr., Jesse Welch and Alice Marie Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Gail Butler (Phillip), Merolyn Sue Lero, Betty Ann Sadowski (John), Linda Kolitz (Bob), Felton Allen Heath, Wonda Gay Dickinson (Bill) and Jonathan Heath (Donna); and her siblings, Simmie Ray Welch, William Welch (Judy), Timothy Welch (Jo), Robert Welch (Sandy), Jack Welch (Brenda), Darris Frizzell and Leonia Meadows. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Christ Temple Pentecostal Church (2150 N 1st St, Jena, LA 71342). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
