It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Sanders (Jena, Louisiana), born in Georgetown, Louisiana, who passed away on January 3, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Albert Sanders; and her siblings, Joseph Barron Rambo, William "Bill" Rambo, Vera Brenam, Clara Rambo and Eva Ross.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ray (Jack); her granddaughters, Laurie Ray Sewall (Paul) and Jeannie Ray Wagner (Patrick); her great grandchild Sandy McCartney; her great great grandchild Allee Claire Smith; her foster daughter JoAnn Williams; and her close friends, Jerry and JoAnn Stevens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Goodpine Baptist Church.
