She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Lawhon and Lottie Jones; her siblings, George Hogan, Morris Lee McCarty and Irma Lee Mannin; and her daughters, Barbara Richardson and Kathy Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Delbert Kinney; and her children, Ray Johnson, George Hulsey, Daniel Hulsey and Virginia Hulsey. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena (11886 US-84, Jena, LA 71342). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Life Church - LaSalle (1265 Church Rd, Trout, LA 71371).
